Felicitas Mehiläinen is the first clinic in Finland to use a monitoring system. Here, too, we want to offer our customers a high level of safety and reliability with the help of a monitoring system.

What is RI Witness?

It is important for you to know that everything will be well taken care of when you start the treatment.

RI Witness was developed to minimise errors in sample management during fertility treatments. The electronic monitoring system supports the professionals of the cell laboratory in their daily work by monitoring the transfer of samples from one dish or tube to another in the laboratory, 24 hours a day.

The system is fully automated, allowing laboratory technicians to concentrate fully on managing the samples.

How does the monitoring system work?

RI Witness helps protect samples from the start to the end of fertility treatments.

You will receive your own unique Witness ID card at the clinic. The dishes containing cells or embryos are marked in the laboratory with unique electronic identifiers that are automatically linked to your Witness ID card throughout your treatment path. Therefore, it is important that you keep the card with you at all times when you come to the clinic for an operation or sampling.
