No matter what gynaecological issue you want to see me about, you are welcome to my practice. My special expertise is in monitoring pregnancy and all special issues related to pregnancy and childbirth.

Pregnancy monitoring is carried out from the beginning at a private maternity clinic in close cooperation with the midwife of the Felicitas Mehiläinen clinic. You can also attend individual appointments about pregnancy-related matters.

I perform ultrasound examinations at all stages of pregnancy (early pregnancy ultrasound examinations, pregnancy duration measurements and ultrasound examinations to monitor foetal growth and health as well as position checks). I give advice and perform neck swelling and structural ultrasound examinations related to prenatal screening. I make referrals to non-invasive prenatal testing, and I can also perform a neck swelling ultrasound examination at the same time if the time is right. I have access to high-quality 3D/4D ultrasound equipment. I do delivery method assessments, and I am also happy to discuss other issues related to childbirth. In addition, I also perform postpartum examinations.

I also do gynaecological examinations and monitoring for women of all ages. I treat patients of all ages from teenagers to older women. My services also include inserting/removing IUDs and contraceptive implants.

During the day, I work at Women’s Hospital in Helsinki and Espoo Hospital in matters related to pregnancy monitoring and childbirth. I have worked as an obstetrician for over 20 years, and I have also worked as a private practitioner for an equal amount of time. In addition, I am actively researching the induction of labour. I have a doctorate in medicine in the field of premature birth prediction. I am a docent in gynaecological diseases, childbirth and perinatology.
